There are two ways, really, to go about creating new base bodies. You can create it entirely from your memory, or you can do it the old fashioned way - use a picture as a reference. Well, here I will show you how to create a doll base body by using another picture. So what you want to do is find a picture off of the internet, or in a magazine, newspaper, etc. that has a pose you like or of course, draw a pose by yourself in your paint program, or scan an actual drawing into your computer.

Now this may sound a tad bit strange, and you don't have to follow this tutorial that way, but I get good pictures to turn into base bodies from porn sites. I bet your laughing right now or going 'eewww!' lol. But, the humans in the pictures are naked, and that is the best way to create a base body - there are no clothing over the models and therefore eliminates all guesswork. But, you can also get pictures of models in bathing suits too, which is good as well :) Just think along the lines of less clothing is better :P lol
